I used some of the Corel supplied imagelist files, but you can also easily create your own. These are .CPT files (Photo-Paint files), with a series of elements that are masked. When loaded into the image sprayer tool, these flow onto your painting as you move the mouse over it. You have control over the size and sequence of the images. .
I tried to give a sense of depth to this image by using various sizes as I sprayed on the clouds, forest and flames. Image size is one of several controls you have when using this tool. You can also select a specific range of images within the imagelist file to utilize and the sequence in which they will be sprayed. In addition, you can control the transparency as you spray.
To finish my image, I dragged several “objects” into the it, via the new scrapbook function. The photo clipart CD supplies a lot of photos in the new compressed wavelet format, and also a fair number of so-called Object files. Object files are essentially .CPT images whose content is a single element, such as the couger, which is maintained as a floating object on a white background. I added these as objects to the background image and gave them dropshadows to give a slightly surrealistic look to the finished piece.
