We are a CorelDraw User Group
OC-CUG’s focus is CorelDraw and Corel Photo-Paint. We take occasional looks at other graphic related stuff, but spend the vast majority of time on DRAW and Paint.. Our presentations are currently done in version 9, but we try to refer to techniques used in earlier versions. While independent, we are recognized by, and maintain a friendly relationship with Corel Corporation. Our President, Wayne Kaplan, is a Corel Certified Instructor for CorelDRAWtm. Membership is open to anyone in the Southern California area, interested in learning more about CorelDraw and other related graphics applications, while sharing and networking with other users. Our members range from novice hobbyists to graphics professionals. We have had membership inquiries from users that are not located in Southern California. While we are flattered, the primary benefit of membership is meeting attendance and product discounts offered at the meetings. We encourage non-locals to periodically visit our site, and to take advantage of our meeting archives, which does not require membership. Included among our members is Media West, a rare Windows based and Corel friendly service bureau/print shop. |
