
Besides rotating in the opposite direction of the previous three examples, this one was constructed using Depth and Photo-Paint. Depth is probably the best tool for precise control over rotations of objects, and also allows you to contro how both the front and back of the object look. I created the basic object, and exported it as an EPS file. Then I rotated it, and exported as another EPS file, and so on, until I had completed the rotation. Then in Photo-Paint, I created a movie, and pasted an imported EPS file into each frame. Unfortunately, you can't directly import the EPS file into the frame. You have to open them first—though you can open more than one at a time—and copy/paste into each successive frame.
Enough already with the going in circles! How about a different type of animation?
